The use of artificial intelligence is swiftly revolutionizing nursing education, offering substantial opportunities and intricate obstacles. This systematic review thoroughly examines the ethical concerns, intrinsic hazards, and prospective transformations related to the implementation of AI in this domain. Although AI offers personalized learning, sophisticated simulations, and improved educational efficiency, its proper implementation requires meticulous consideration of fundamental concepts. Principal ethical issues pertain to safeguarding data privacy and confidentiality, upholding academic integrity in the context of advanced AI language models such as ChatGPT, and addressing algorithmic bias to ensure equal outcomes. Additionally, dangers encompass the possibility for disinformation propagation, increased cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and a probable decline in pupils' critical thinking and independent decision-making abilities resulting from excessive dependence on AI. The opaque nature of certain AI algorithms creates transparency problems, as well as difficulties with diminished human interaction essential for fostering empathy and communication. Notwithstanding these obstacles, AI's ability for customized content delivery and immersive virtual environments has the potential to transform skill acquisition. Strategic integration, bolstered by curricular reform and comprehensive ethical norms, is essential to prepare future nurses for an AI-enhanced clinical setting. This requires a balanced strategy that utilizes the advantages of AI while preserving fundamental educational principles, emphasizing humanistic values and critical thinking in conjunction with technological skills.
